GODSENT and Tricked advanced to the playoffs of WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 after securing two victories in Kiev.
The first day of WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 saw two teams advance to the playoffs after topping their respective groups. Group A kicked off to an engagement between Winstrike and GamerLegion in which the Swedish squad, featuring William "draken" Sundin as a stand-in for Dennis "dennis" Edman, managed to outperform the CIS squad with a 16-10 showing on Dust2.

Later on, a clash between FORZE and GODSENT on Dust2 decided the second participant of the Group A winners' match, with the ex-SMASH squad edging out their opponents with a narrow 16-14 victory thanks to a lively performance from Jesse "zehN" Linjala, who racked up 29 frags.
Overpass would decide the first team to advance to the play-offs, with GODSENT racing to a 10-5 lead on the map with a strong defense. GamerLegion were able to retaliate in the second half, but they faltered in the closing stages of the game, allowing GODSENT to lock down the map at 16-12.
Over in Group B, Gambit Youngsters kicked affairs off on a positive note as Anton "supra" Tšernobai spearheaded the team's efforts in a 16-6 thrashing of Copenhagen Flames with a 1.48 rating. Tricked were later determined as the second winners' match participants of the group after besting Heretics on Nuke with a solid display from Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen (1.38 rating).

The concluding match of the day saw Train played out for the first time. Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen's men commenced on the T side, where they were able to put up a strong performance in the form of an 11-4 half. The Russian team developed an early momentum after switching sides, but once rifles were seen in the hands of the Danes, the tables turned, as Tricked concluded the map with a 16-7 scoreline.
